Impregnated core bits can drill a broad range of geological formations from the softest to the hardest rock. They are manufactured with SUKAN RSD diamond 每 top grade synthetic diamond grits, with metal matrix designed according to the applications. During drilling the matrix wears away and results in continuous exposure of new sharp diamond points. This gives an efficient and stable cutting action throughout the life of the bit. The optimum diamond size, concentration and matrix composition depends on the hardness and abrasiveness of the formation to be drilled
