| The polycrystalline
diamond compact is the compact of a polycrystalline diamond layer and a
tungsten carbide substrate. The polycrystalline diamond layer possesses
extremely high hardness and abrasion resistance, whereas the tungsten carbide
substrate would greatly improve the toughness and weldability of the whole
compact. It is usually utilized to make petroleum and geological drilling
bits, as well as machine tools. |

Instructions: 1. When exposed to temperature higher than 750℃, the diamond component in PDC tends to degrade back to graphite. It is strongly recommended that the operating temperature should be controlled lower than 700℃ during using. 2. The diamond layer of PDC is brittle, heavy impact or knock should be avoided. 3. PDC should be stored in a dry and clean place. |
